- Bruce & son Jamie played guitar for The Skids as they reunited to celebrate their 30th anniversary, playing two night at Dunfermline's Glen Pavilion, followed by a set at T In The Park. Now back with Big Country bandmates Tony Butler & Mark Brzezicki, touring & recording new material to celebrate 25 years of Big Country (2007)
- Along with Big Country drummer Mark Brzezicki, formed "Casbah Club" with Bruce Foxton of The Jam & Stiff Little Fingers fame, Simon Townshend & singer JJ Gilmour (2004)
