- Bruce Watson took his own life in his small, unfinished house in the foothills of the Manzano Mountains, south of Albuquerque. His family felt it was an impulsive act as Watson had suffered from mental illness for most of his life. He desperately wanted a bigger career than he had and worked at odd jobs, making a meager living in order to be available for acting jobs.
