Selwyn Ward was born on June 13, 1977 in Kokomo, Indiana, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Power Rangers Turbo (1997), Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (1999) and Power Rangers in Space (1998).

The first African American to become the Red Ranger in Power Rangers history.

Has a daughter named Leila (born in 2012).

He has made appearances on the television show Moesha (1996) and Passions (1999)

Has one older sister.
