Biography

Jonas Ward was born in 1922. He was a writer, known for Buchanan Rides Alone (1958). He died in 1960.

Writing under his own name as well as the pseudonyms Ben Kerr, Mike Moran, Jonas Ward and Thomas Wills, Ard wrote thirty hard-boiled detective and western novels during his short ten-year career. His recurring characters were gumshoes Timothy Dane, Danny Fontaine and Lou Largo as well as the two-fisted cowpoke Tom Buchanan.
