Ted Adams, Nan Leslie, Walter Shumway, and Bill Ward in The Lone Ranger (1949)
William Ward was a stuntman in Westerns. Sometimes he played a part in the movies he was involved in. When he was working on The Lone Ranger show, his own horse named Traveler was the stand-in for Silver (White Cloud/Hi-Yo Silver). Whenever the Lone Ranger had to jump off a galloping Silver, it was Ward dressed as the Lone Ranger leaping off of Traveler. Ward did a lot of stunts that required falling or jumping off horses. He knew just how to do it without getting hurt. He is actually in many movies that he didn't get any credit.
