B.J. Ward was born on September 12, 1944 in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. She is an actress, known for The Pagemaster (1994), The Scooby-Doo Project (1999) and G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (1985). She was previously married to Gordon Hunt and Donn Trenner.

Before she started doing voice work she was a Playboy Bunny.

Has provided the voices of Velma Dinkley for Scooby-Doo, Betty Rubble for the Flintstones, Smurfette for The Smurfs, Princess Allura for Voltron, Scarlett for GI Joe, Small Foot and Snoop for Challenge of the Gobots, and wonder twin Jayna in the Super Friends animated series.

Stepmother of Helen Hunt.

Also a singer. Has sung on Broadway and released several recordings .

Sister-in-law of Peter H. Hunt and Barbette Tweed.
