John Warburton was born on June 18, 1903 in Maghull, Liverpool, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Saratoga Trunk (1945), Cavalcade (1933) and Secret File: Hollywood (1962). He was married to Lucille Morrison. He died on October 27, 1981 in Sherman Oaks, California, USA.

In 1933 John had a romance with actress Alice White. She accused him of beating her so badly she needed cosmetic surgery. To get revenge Alice and her ex-boyfriend Sy Bartlett hired two men to beat up Warburton. Although the incidents made headlines no one was ever arrested.
