Biography

Mr. Walton began his career in the entertainment field with physical production, where he handled production/location accounting and production management for both films and television shows for Dreamworks SKG, Columbia Tri-Star Television, MGM/UA, Spelling Entertainment Group, Saban Entertainment and NBC Productions. In 1996, he worked for the Atlanta Olympic Broadcast, where he coordinated the multi-national sound and video crews who brought the 100th Olympiad to a worldwide audience.

In 1998, Mr. Walton segued from overseeing and facilitating individual motion picture productions to helping to build a production company which would go on to produce over 50 films and several reality television programs. Emmett/Furla Films was created to package and finance motion pictures ranging in size from under $1 Million to over $60 Million. In 2000, Emmett/Furla Films became a publicly traded company (NASDAQ OTC BB) and Walton helped lead the charge by preparing the business model which would allow the small private company to engage investors from around the country. As Executive Vice President of the company, Mr. Walton oversaw, development, production, business affairs and strategic planning for the company. Mr. Walton continues to consult for Emmett/Furla Films on all aspects of motion picture finance, development, production and distribution/exploitation.

Some of the feature film highlights of Mr. Walton's career at Emmett/Furla Films, include: "16 Blocks" staring Bruce Willis for Director Richard Donner ("Lethal Weapon"); "The Wicker Man" starring Nicolas Cage for writer/director Neil LaBute ("In the Company of Men"); "Righteous Kill" starring Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino; the 2008 "Rambo" directed by and starring Sylvester Stallone and the forthcoming "Conan" for Director Marcus Nispell (2003's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre).

Mr. Walton recently completed "Once Fallen," which he Executive Produced. "Once Fallen " stars Academy Award nominees, Taraji P. Henson ("The Curious Case of Benjamin Button") and Amy Madigan ("Twice in a Lifetime") and four-time Academy Award nominee Ed Harris.

In 1993, Mr. Walton received his B.A in International Relations from Rollins College, ranked consistently as one of the top regional universities in the South in the annual rankings of "America's Best Colleges" by U.S. News & World Report. While attending Rollins College, he started a television station targeted at the student and regional market-the first steps of a life-long ambition of a career in entertainment.
