Biography

Award-winning UK record producer, recording engineer and mixer Peter Walsh's career spans from the early 1980s through to the present day. He has worked with an astonishingly broad spectrum of musical styles but is best known for his work with artists such as Heaven17, Simple Minds, Peter Gabriel, Scott Walker, Pulp, Miguel Bosé, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Alejandro Sanz and more recently FKA twigs.

Recent projects include co-producing, recording and mixing the score for Brady Corbet's 2024 epic film, "The Brutalist", composed by Daniel Blumberg. Further film score credits include Mona Fastwold's 2020, "The World To Come", also composed by Daniel Blumberg, for which he received an Ivor Novello award, and Brady Corbet's "Childhood of a Leader" and "Vox Lux", both composed by Scott Walker.

Alongside production and recording commitments Peter writes a monthly column for Sound & Recording magazine and continues to present masterclasses for the Abbey Road Institute.
