- Younger sister of Sally Walsh.
- Has been in a relationship with Justin Scott of Clan Scott since 2004. Gave birth to her first child at age 32, a son Robert "Bobby" Scott of Clan Scott (b. 4 September 2014). Child's father is her boyfriend, now husband, Justin Scott of Clan Scott.
- She was the fourth girl to make it into Girls Aloud.
- Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief, 2009 with Girls Aloud co-star Cheryl. It took four days to scale the mountain, and two to climb back down. They raised 1.400.000£00 pounds for charity.
