Biography

Carlos Wallenstein was born on April 4, 1926 in Ponta Delgada, Açores, Portugal. He was an actor and writer, known for O Improviso de Barba-Azul (1959), Quanto Importa Ser Leal (1959) and Le mystérieux docteur Cornélius (1984). He was married to Maria do Bom Sucesso Furtado Taveira de Medeiros Franco. He died on November 6, 1990 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Father of actor José Wallenstein (b. 1959), Pedro Wallenstein (b. 1955) and Madalena Wallenstein (b. 1964), with wife Maria do Bom Sucesso Furtado Medeiros Franco Wallenstein (b. 1927, d.2007).

Grandfather of Catarina Wallenstein and Tomás Wallenstein.

His wife was a great-granddaughter of the 1st Viscount of Faria e Maia Nobleman of Coat of Arms of de Faria (crest), Machado, Cabral and de Melo with crown of Viscount, great-great-grandniece of the 1st Count of the Fenais Nobleman of Coat of Arms of Gago (crest) with crown of Count, great-great-grandniece of the 2nd Baron of the Fonte-Bela Nobleman of Coat of Arms of da Silveira (crest), de Miranda and Gago with a blue brica loaded with a silver washer for difference with crown of Baron, and great-great-great-granddaughter of the 1st Baron of the Fonte-Bela Nobleman of Coat of Arms of de Miranda (crest) and da Silveira with crown of Baron and wife the 1st Countess of the Fonte-Bela.
