Paula Walker is a writer and director based in Los Angeles. Her award-winning commercials include spots with artists such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Queen Latifah, and Nicole Scherzinger, as well as campaigns for Mercedes-Benz, Revlon, Coca-Cola, and German Railway, which won her the Silver Lion at Cannes. She is also known for directing music videos for artists such as Tina Turner, Tracy Chapman, Marc Anthony, and Carlos Santana.
Walker has pivoted into narrative filmmaking. Her short "SEED," starring Frances Fisher and Diane Venora, won the Palm Springs Audience Award. "Mind Games" screened at Chelsea Film Festival, La Femme, and IBFF Nashville.
A trained dancer and choreographer, Walker is known for her intuitive, actor-centered process and her focus on stories of family, intimacy, and emotional complexity. She co-founded Strato Films with Rolf Kestermann to develop culturally urgent and emotionally resonant projects that bridge artistic vision and commercial appeal.
