Biography

Cardon Walker was born on January 9, 1916 in Rexburg, Idaho, USA. He was a producer and editor, known for The Disney Family Album (1984), Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983) and On the Set: Step Up (2006). He was married to Winifred (Winnie) Louise Watkins and Betty Palmer Oake. He died on November 28, 2005 in La Cañada Flintridge, California, USA.

Became president of the Walt Disney Company in 1971, the first chief executive who was not a member of the Disney family.

Among his awards and honors were Pioneer of the Year from the Foundation of Motion Picture Pioneers, the International Showmanship Award from the National Association of Theater Owners and the Alumnus of the Year Award from UCLA.
