Biography

Mal Waldron was born on August 16, 1926 in New York City, New York, USA. He was a composer, known for If Beale Street Could Talk (2018), Fifty Shades Darker (2017) and Equinox (1992). He died on December 2, 2002 in Brussels, Belgium.

Learned to speak French, German, Italian and Japanese. He lived in Germany for several years before moving to Brussels.

Jazz pianist, Billie Holiday's last accompanist and the composer of the jazz classic "Soul Eyes".
