- Georges Wakhévitch was born on August 18, 1907 in Odessa, Kherson Governorate, Russian Empire [now Ukraine]. He was a production designer and costume designer, known for La tragédie de Carmen (1983), Personal Column (1939) and Paris Holiday (1958). He was married to Marica Wakhévitch. He died on February 11, 1984 in Paris, France.
