Biography

Paul Wagner was born on August 24, 1899 in Cologne, Germany. He was an actor, known for Psycho (1960), Seven Samurai (1954) and Ben-Hur (1959). He died on January 11, 1970 in West Berlin, West Germany.

Brother of Konrad Wagner.

Prolific stage and screen character actor, in films often cast as Prussian military officers. Latterly active as a voice-over artist, the regular German dubbing voice for Leo G. Carroll, Dean Jagger and Cedric Hardwicke.

The actor Paul Wagner acted regularly in German movies from the beginning of the 30's - normally in support roles.

Besides his activity as an actor he also synchronized foreign movies.
