Michael Wadleigh was born on 24 September 1939 in Akron, Ohio, USA. He is a cinematographer and director, known for Wolfen (1981), Woodstock (1970) and Who's That Knocking at My Door (1967).

Runs a nonprofit educational corporation, primarily
involved in global media production and distribution. Currently resides
in southern NH, moving to off-the-coast-of Maine soon. (October 2004)

Works as a transit bus driver in Akron, Ohio.

Co-writer of screenplay for <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0091238/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Hyper Sapien: People from Another Star (1986)</a> under the pseudonym Christopher Blue.
