Michael Wade was born on October 30, 1944 in Avondale, Newfoundland, Canada. He was an actor, known for Gullage's (1996), Finding Mary March (1988) and The Adventure of Faustus Bidgood (1986). He died on May 22, 2004 in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.

Huge Bob Dylan fan. Briefly a member of the rock band Ash Wednesday in the 1970s,.he released a solo album as a singer-songwriter, "One Way Love", in 2003.

Has four children 2 daughters and 2 sons.

Started Newfoundland's First Shakespeare Company in 1984.
