  • Mark originally started working in Film in Alpine Logistics and Aerial Coordination. His experience as a Helicopter Ski Guide coupled with his Medical training prepared him for the challenges of filming in remote locations. The Helicopter ski business training gave him the expertise to properly plan and execute all of the required logistics for remote filming.

    Initially hired as the Production Manger for the Smithsonian 100th Year Celebration film, this production took him to all corners of the world, including the North and South Poles and remote jungle locations.

    Experienced in war torn countries where logistics, security and planning takes on a whole new meaning, Mark recently worked in Borneo in extremely remote locations. His responsibilities included the coordination of shipping transportation, safety, housing and security for large filming crews.

    He has worked in the Arctic, Antarctica, Europe and Asia on films such as "Rivers of Ice" in the remote Eastern Arctic and on "Where God Began." These are films where the closest road can be hundreds of miles away. Planning to properly house and feed your crew along with safety, and full production support is critical to success. He has also worked in the Coastal Ranges and the Eastern Rockies on productions such as "The Bourne Legacy, The Claim, Mountain of Fear, Touch the Top, Snow Dogs," and most recently BBC TV's "Top Gear" Season 22 were exclusively filmed in remote alpine areas.
