Biography

Gert Voss was born on October 10, 1941 in Shanghai, China. He was an actor, known for Labyrinth of Lies (2014), Radetzkymarsch (1994) and Othello, der Mohr von Venedig (1991). He was married to Ursula Voss. He died on July 13, 2014 in Vienna, Austria.

As he was one of director Claus Peymann's favorite actors, he became ensemble member of the famous Burgtheater in Vienna in 1986.

Chosen "Actor of the Year" by "Theater heute" magazine four times (1983, 1987, 1990, 1992).

Studied English and German.
