- The director Paul von Woringen already realised his first movie as a director in 1910 with "Der Tyroler in München" (1910) and he was the art director of Mutoskop & Biograph Germany.
- In the year 1920 he shot again several movies for the last time like "Wie das Schicksal spielt" (1920), "Sybill Morgan" (1920) and "Büsser der Leidenschaft" (1920). It followed an interruption of nearly four years before he shot his last movie as a director with "Im Schatten der Anderen" (1924).
- His real film career as a director began in 1913 and he realised numerous silent movies.
- Beside his activity as a director Paul von Woringen also wrote numerous screenplays.
- His film career came to an end again in the 20s.
