Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Géza von Radványi was born on 17 December 1907 in Kassa, Hungary, Austria-Hungary [now Kosice, Slovak Republic]. He was a writer and director, known for Uncle Tom's Cabin (1965), Európa nem válaszol (1941) and Mädchen in Uniform (1958). He was married to Mária Tasnádi Fekete and Eva Daghofer. He died on 27 November 1986 in Budapest, Hungary.

Younger brother of writer <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0617252/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Sándor Márai</a>.

Often collaborated with his wife <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0850950/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Mária Tasnádi Fekete</a>.

After World War II, he started working in Italy, France and Germany, where he finally settled down in 1954.

His father Sándor Grosschmid was a Hungarian lawyer, who originally came from Saxony.

Former son-in-law of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0196820/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Lil Dagover</a> and <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm2253049/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Fritz Daghofer</a>.
