  • Flockina von Platen was born on May 14, 1903 in Stolp, Pomerania, Germany [now Slupsk, Pomorskie, Poland]. She was an actress, known for Der Dolch des Malayen (1919), Nanette (1940) and Ein Mann für Jenny (1956). She died on November 26, 1984 in West Berlin, West Germany.

  • Had a long-term relationship with the actor Eugen Klöpfer.
  • Blonde, curly-haired supporting actress or second lead of 1930's and 40's German films. She was trained for acting by Ilka Grüning und Lucie Höflich and made her stage debut in 1927. She acted at various Berlin theatres (as well as touring South America in the late 20's) before appearing regularly on screen.
  • Her film appearances became more seldom in the next years, she only took part occasionally in movies, and after the movie "Erzieherin gesucht" (1945) she retired from the film business.
  • The actress Flockina von Platen experienced at the beginning of the 30's a brief but successful film career.
  • However she already made her film debut as a teenager with the movie "Der Dolch der Malayen" (1919) with Carl Auen and Bernhard Goetzke, after that followed an 12-year interruption. In the meantime she acted at the theater, so on different stages in Berlin.
