Manfred von Brauchitsch was born on 15 August 1905 in Hamburg, Germany. He was an actor and writer, known for Rivalen am Steuer (1957), Kampf (1932) and 1937 Monaco Grand Prix (1937). He was married to Lieselotte Schneider and Gisela Hundt. He died on 6 February 2003 in Gräfenwarth, Thuringia, Germany.

Winner of 45 Grand Prix races over six seasons in the 1930s.
