Biography

Sacy von Blondel was born on July 28, 1897 in Balassagyarmat, Austria-Hungary [now Hungary]. She was an actress and producer, known for Lady Violetta (1922), Ramara (1916) and A rög (1920). She was married to André Lang and J. Béla Geröffy. She died on February 5, 1983 in Paris, France.

After her film career Sacy von Blondel began a second career as an author.

In 1955 she received a teaching position from Cambridge.

In 1938 Sacy von Blondel moved to Paris, after which hardly anything was heard from her.

In 1932 she finally stopped acting and began to publish as a writer (books of poetry, prose, theater reviews). However, some of her work received very bad reviews.
