Biography

Annette von Aretin was born on May 23, 1920 in Bamberg, Bavaria, Germany. She was an actress, known for Was bin ich? (1955), Grüezi, Herr Nachbar! (1954) and Zeitvertreib (1971). She was married to Dr. Harald Klein. She died on March 1, 2006 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

After working for Radio Munich, she became the first announcer of the local Bavarian television in 1954.

Member of the VIP team on the long-running hit quiz show Was bin ich? (1955) from 11 February 1961 to 10 January 1989.

She was a niece of politician and writer Erwein Freiherr von Aretin and cousin of politician Anton Freiherr von Aretin and historian Karl Otmar Freiherr of Aretin.
