Biography

Rüdiger Vogler was born on May 14, 1942 in Warthausen, Biberach, Württemberg [now Baden-Württemberg], Germany. He is an actor, known for Until the End of the World (1991), Lisbon Story (1994) and Wrong Move (1975).

Frequently cast in Wim Wenders films.

Lives in Paris, France.

Spends much of his time in Paris and has appeared on screen in French film productions.

Studied at Heidelberg University, 1963-65, making his stage debut in1965 at the Heidelberg Zimmertheater. Active on the stage at Frankfurt's Theater am Turm, often in avant-garde plays by Peter Handke. Handke introduced Vogler to the director Wim Wenders with whose films he was subsequently associated with.
