Stephen Vizinczey was born on May 12, 1933 in Kálóz, Hungary. He was a writer, known for In Praise of Older Women (1978), In Praise of Older Women (1997) and Four Religions (1960). He was married to Gloria Fisher. He died on August 18, 2021 in London, UK.

He wrote several plays, and was part of the Hungarian Revolution of the 1950s. He escaped to Canada knowing only a few words of English.
