Biography

Italia Vitaliani was born on August 20, 1866 in Turin, Italy. She was an actress, known for Phaedra (1909), Fiore reciso (1914) and Il ponte dei sospiri (1921). She was married to Carlo Duse. She died on December 16, 1938 in Milan, Italy.

In later life became a renowned drama teacher. One of her pupils was Paola Pezzaglia.

Her parents and grandparents were all actors.

Cousin of stage actress Eleonora Duse.
