Was friends with Yelena Gogoleva who was 45 years older than her. She died on her 91st birthday. Gogoleva herself died 2 years later.

Gave birth to her only child at age 19, a daughter Alyona Okhlupina on August 21, 1964. Child's father is her now widowed husband, Igor Okhlupin.

Was buried at Pyatnitskoye Cemetery in Moscow.
