Adam Vernier is an American actor whose career spans film, television, theater, voiceover, and commercials. His passion for acting began at just five years old while living in Chicago, where he auditioned for the role of Danny Torrance in The Shining, ultimately becoming the second choice for the iconic part. That early experience sparked a lifelong dedication to the craft.

Adam is best known for his recurring roles as Sheriff Harold Guidry on Queen Sugar (OWN), Gavin on Outer Banks (Netflix), Officer Jim Tuttle on Outcast, and Coach Johnson on The Runarounds (Prime Video). Throughout his career, he has appeared in numerous television series, feature films, national commercials, industrial productions, and stage productions, earning a reputation for bringing authenticity, versatility, and emotional depth to every performance.

In addition to acting, Adam is the owner of Book It Studios in Orlando, Florida, where he coaches actors of all experience levels in commercial, television, and film audition techniques. Passionate about helping others succeed, he enjoys mentoring the next generation of performers while continuing to pursue his own work in front of the camera.

A longtime advocate for actors, Adam has served on the SAG-AFTRA Florida Board and remains active in supporting the performing arts community. When he's not on set or in the studio, he enjoys long-distance running, spending time with his two daughters, and continuing to challenge himself both personally and professionally.
