Esther Eva Verkaaik is known for I'd Like to Die a Thousand Times (2007), Warum Ulli sich am Weihnachtsabend umbringen wollte (2005) and Both Ends Burning (2004).

Her portrayal as terrorist in Edwin Brienen's debut film Terrorama! (2001) won her a 'best leading actress' award at the Toronto Planet Indie Film Festival 2002.
