As an actor, he worked in Belgium, including at KNS Antwerp, KVS Brussels, Werkgemeenschap van de Beursschouwburg, Muntschouwburg, the Internationale Nieuwe Scene (Mistero Buffo), and De Verrukking (De Sapeurloot); in the Netherlands, he performed with the theatre groups Het Werkteater in Amsterdam, Globe in Eindhoven, and Toneelgroep De Appel in The Hague.
