Bayard Veiller was born on January 2, 1869 in Brooklyn [now in New York City], New York, USA. He was a writer and producer, known for Sherlock Brown (1922), The Thirteenth Chair (1929) and The Trial of Mary Dugan (1929). He was married to Margaret Wycherly. He died on January 16, 1943 in New York City, New York, USA.

He had a son, Anthony Veiller, with his wife, Margaret.
