Biography

Francesco Vedovati has been working as a casting director in Italian cinema for decades. In 2023, he received an Emmy Award for his work on the drama series The White Lotus (season 2). He also cast the Oscar-nominated film Io, Capitano (2024) and has been nominated for a BAFTA for The Two Popes and for multiple Artios Awards from the Casting Society of America for projects like Fargo and Ripley. In 2024, he was honored with the Capelier-Shaw Artios Award for Excellence in Casting, followed in 2025 by the Artios Award for Outstanding Achievement in Casting - Studio or Independent Feature - Drama for Conclave.
