Graduate of the Institute of Theater and Cinematography "I.L.Caragiale" (1960 promotion). Many years actor of Nottara Theater in Bucharest. Though nicer than many of the so-called beautiful juniors of the Romanian screen, it has been discreet, certainly due to the fact that most scenarios were pure communist propaganda. Instead he played in many plays on the Nottara stage.
