- Jenny Van Santvoort was born on November 8, 1899 in Mechelen, Belgium. She was an actress, known for Arsenicum en oude kant (1971), The Legend of Doom House (1971) and Uit hetzelfde nest (1952). She died on February 19, 1983 in Brasschaat, Belgium.
- Van Santvoort studied at the Royal Flemish Conservatory and had been associated with the K.N.S. theatre company in Antwerp since 1921. From 1959, she was also active as a teacher of the art of recitation at the Antwerp Conservatory. She retired as a teacher after nearly 20 years on December 19, 1978.
- Jenny Van Santvoort was a Belgian actress. She particularly distinguished herself in works by Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, and classical Flemish and Dutch authors.
- Her primary focus was on the stage, but Jenny Van Santvoort also appeared in the films "Uit hetzelfde nest" by Edith Kiel (1952) and "Malpertuis" (The Legend of Doom House) by Harry Kümel (1971).
- She also acted in TV movies for the Flemish television broadcaster BRT: "Slissen en Cesar" (1962), "Arsenic and Old Lace" (1971), "Avondspelen" (1971), "Een lange herfstdag" (1971), and "De vrouwen naar het graf" (1972). However, it was her role as Clementine in the popular television series "Wij, Heren van Zichem" (based on the stories by Ernest Claes) that brought her wider public recognition later in life.
- During the 1951–1952 season, a play she had written was included in the program of the Royal Dutch Theatre: "Het Esbattement van Hanneken Leckertant".
