Biography

Nicole Van Goethem was born on May 31, 1941 in Antwerp, Belgium. She was a director and actress, known for A Greek Tragedy (1985), Vol van gratie (1987) and Trouble in Paradise (1989). She died on March 3, 2000 in Antwerp, Belgium.

She received in 1987 an Oscar for her first short cartoon 'Een Griekse tragedie' ÿ A Greek tragedy'. She received in 1985 the first price on the cartoonfestival of Annecy (France). Her last film 'Living Apart Together' will be finshed by a co-operator. She used for the first time in her last cartoon 3D-effects.
