- She is considered one of the pioneers of youth programs on Flemish Television.
- As Tante Terry, she presented 'Klein, klein, kleutertje' - a programm for the youngsters - for eighteen years from 1961 onwards. She was assisted by her self-designed squirrel 'Kraakje'.
- She was famous for presenting children's programs together with Bob Davidse.
- Together with Paula Semer and Nora Steyaert she was one of the first broadcasters on the Flemish Television N.I.R. in 1953.
- She was kidnapped during the filming of the movie 'Tim Frazer jagt den geheimnisvollen Mister X', because the producer went out of money.
- When the first Flemish commercial television channel, VTM, was launched, Terry was brought on board by Guido Depraetere and Mike Verdrengh to record the voice-over for the animated series 'Tjilp, de mus', in which she provided all the character voices.
- Together with "Kraakje Pluimstaart," the squirrel, she—as "Aunt Terry"—would capture the hearts of tens of thousands of children over the course of 18 years. On January 1, 1979—the very "Year of the Child"—Terry was dismissed by the BRT after 25 years of loyal service. She changed course and resolutely stepped into the business world.
- As early as 1965, she presented an "Ohne Mann-show" (a "show without men"), an evening-long program. In it, she sang and spoke about everything that plays a role—whether major or minor—in a woman's life. She achieved great success with this program, even in Wallonia and Germany.
- Terry witnessed the birth of Flemish television as a member of the "De Gouden Sleutel" choir, led by Mathieu Deheyder. It was there that she was discovered by Joz Van Liempt, who entrusted her with hosting the show "Première".
- She has an impressive list of recordings to her name, featuring popular hits (such as "Tammy," "Tom Pilibi," and various covers of songs by Dalida) as well as a special repertoire for children, including the children's musical 'De kleurenventjes' and countless fairy tales.
