- Vladimir Ussachevsky was born on October 21, 1911 in Hailar, Manchuria, China. He was a composer, known for 'Way Out (1961), No Exit (1962) and Line of Apogee (1968). He died on January 4, 1990 in New York City, New York, USA.
- Although born in China, he was the son of a Russian Army officer.
