Biography

Barbara Underhill was born on June 24, 1963 in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. She is an actress, known for The Wizard of Oz on Ice (1996), I Have Nothing (2023) and Skating Kicks Back (1998).

1984 World Champion pairs skating with Paul Martini.

Inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 1988.

Her daughter, Stephanie (Samantha's twin), accidentally drowned in their pool when she was 8 months old. They have started the Stephanie Gaetz Keepsafe Foundation (www.keepsafefoundation.com) in Stephanie's memory. Keepsafe is dedicated to reducing the incidence of childhood injury, the leading cause of childhood death in Canada.

Her children are: Stephanie (deceased), Samantha (twin to Stephanie), Matthew and Scotti. She also has a step-daughter.
