Biography

Richard Tyler was born on September 23, 1932 in New York City, New York, USA. He is an actor, known for The Bells of St. Mary's (1945), It's in the Bag! (1945) and The Aldrich Family (1949). He has been married to Penny since 1976. They have two children. He was previously married to Three Martin.

Now a chiropractor in Southern California.

Allegedly a direct descendant of John Tyler, the 10th President of the United States.

In 2004, he published his book called West Coast Bodybuilding Scene: The Golden Era.

Began in films as a juvenile actor, billed as 'Dickie Tyler'. He became best known for playing the title role of Henry Aldrich in the television series The Aldrich Family.
