- Judy grew up in San Francisco and became a fashion model at only 15 years old. She was on her way to a successful career, but found herself fascinated with the art of cosmetics. She decided that her career would be to work among the best makeup artists in film.
Today, with over a decade in the business, the desert resident has worked on such stars as Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, William Shatner, James Earl Jones, Shawn Huff and numerous others. Singer Patti LaBelle actually stopped a production to comment on Judy's superb makeup. Last year, she worked on the film "Freedom Writers" starring Hilary Swank and Scott Glenn. Judy is especially proud of her stint with a 12-show makeup gig for the series "Ugly Betty".
Judy owns her own successful make up company and many celebrities use her products. Called "Take 5 Cosmetics", the "Ugly Betty" show purchased the entire "Take 5 Cosmetics" line during her stint with the show.
