Started her career as a model and wanted nothing to do with the film or
television side of the industry until director
Edward Holzman encountered her and asked
her to play a bit part in
Sinful Intrigue (1995). Though
the experience was "fun", as she called it, it definitely reaffirmed
her desire not to stay in the game, but continue with modeling for a
few more years. Originally from Connecticut, Sharon moved to Los Angeles
to model at the age of 16, where she started working almost
immediately.
Sharon body doubled for Pamela Anderson for a season on Baywatch (1989) while Pamela was pregnant with her first child with Tommy Lee, before marrying writer/producer/director Shane Stanley in 1998, where soon after she became the co-host for Extreme Gong (1998).
