Joan Turner(1922-2009)

Actress

Although she was born in Ireland, she spent most of her life in England. Her earliest ambition was to be a dancer, but she developed such a flair for impressions that she started her stage career as an impressionist. It was during that time, that her Yma Sumac vocal range was discovered and her latest act began to take shape.
