Biography

Valentin Turkin was born on February 6, 1887 in Novocherkassk, Don Voisko Oblast, Russian Empire [now Rostov Oblast, Russia]. He was a writer and cinematographer, known for The Girl with the Hat Box (1927), Ne pojman - ne vor (1923) and Zakroyshchik iz Torzhka (1925). He died on January 10, 1958 in Moscow, Russian SFSR, USSR [now Russia].
