  • Kristy Tully is a Director of Photography with films shown at Sundance, SXSW, San Fransisco Film Festival, Big Sky and several others. Her Narrative Film " The Women" won Best Cinematography at the Woman's Comedy Film Festival in Chicago in 2021. "ALOK" directed by Alex Hedison opened the Sundance Film Program in the Shorts Program in2024. "Raise Hell: The Life and Times of Molly Ivins" took the Audience Award at SXSW in 2019. She also employs her story telling skills working as a camera operator on Narrative Films and Television. She began her training early in the "Students Television Arts Company" in high School directing, shooting and editing short films and went on to graduate from the SUNY Purchase Film Conservatory. Kristy came up through the ranks of the electric and grip department with an eye towards honing her lighting skills . She was the Gaffer on several Indie features coming out of New York City in the nineties including Cindy Sherman's "Office Killer" and Jim McKay's "Girlstown".
