Six years later he wrote, directed and produced the cult-classic "Liquid Sky". The plot has been described as a primitive pre-computer acid-trip dealing with a miniature plate-sized saucer landing in New York City, releasing euphoria-seeking aliens on the hunt for heroin and orgasms. The film was produced on a slim budget, $500,000, by an obscure Soviet company, Z Films Inc.. Slava Tsukerman has internationally directed 43 feature films, television productions and documentaries.
