Kirk Trutner was born on August 3, 1961 in Berkeley, California, USA. He is an actor, known for Dante's Peak (1997), Must Love Dogs (2005) and The Medallion (2003).

Worked at Universal Studios Hollywood as a tour guide and tour guide dispatcher.

Has hosted the Charity Auction for the Tim Wakefield Celebrity Golf Classic since 2004

At least four years before his first listed acting role, he appeared as a contestant on the game show Press Your Luck in the mid 1980s. The episode aired on 11/21/1983.

In the early 80s while still in college Kirk volunteered, helping with the production of Battle of the Network Stars.
