Claudete Troiano was born on October 29, 1953 in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil. She is an actress, known for Ídolo de Pano (1974), O Bolha (1969) and Teleton (1998). She has been married to Valmir Manso since 1982. They have two children.

Started out as a children's TV host in Brazil from her childhood to her early teens - although she is not as well-remembered from this work as her successors Eliana, Angélica, Mara Maravilha and more famously, Xuxa. When her daughter found footage of her show - in which she arrived from a rocket and had toy soldier-like assistants on stage - she exclaimed: "You copied Xou da Xuxa (1988)!".

Claudete Troiano and Ione Borges presented the women's program "Mulheres em Desfile" for 16 years (1980-1996).
